Superdrug and Savers
Damian's in-depth project experience led to a role at Accenture where he initially
led the General Ledger, Cash Management and Accounts Receivable workstreams in an
Oracle 11i Financials ERP implementation at Superdrug and Savers, part of the AS
Watson group. Superdrug is one of the UK's leading health & beauty retailers, operating
over 900 stores throughout the UK and Ireland. Savers focuses on the competitively
priced health & beauty market sector and has currently over 240 stores.
The project involved migrating legacy systems on to the new Oracle platform and utilising
a third party bank statement reconciliation solution, ‘Accurate’. Damian's responsibility
extended to the full-life cycle from pre-sales and project initiation through to
analysis, design, build, test and post implementation support as well as managing
third party vendors.
